Finger Lakes Radiology is proud to announce we now offer breast MRI.  Along with a state-of-the art and patient friendly Open-Bore MRI scanner, FLR has acquired an advanced image analysis software solution.  The new software solution, SpectraLook, assists the radiologists in evaluating and diagnosing breast cancer.  The American Cancer Society recommends breast MRI in addition to mammography for women at high risk.  Talk to your doctor to see if a breast MRI is right for you. 

 Finger Lakes Radiology has been awarded a three-year term of accreditation in MRI as the result of a recent survey by the American College of Radiology (ACR).

The ACR awards accreditation to facilities for the achievement of high practice standards after a peer-review evaluation of the practice.  Evaluations are conducted by board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field.  They assess the qualifications of the personnel and the adequacy of facility equipment.  The surveyors report their findings to the ACR's Committee on Accreditation, which subsequently provides the practice with a comprehensive report.

The recent accreditation is the result of an ongoing commitment from Finger Lakes Radiology to provide high quality radiology services for patients and physicians in the surrounding communities. 

Finger Lakes Radiology, LLC is proud to announce the opening of its new Open-Bore MRI facility in Geneva, NY.  The new facility features the MAGNETOM Espree by Siemens, the first 1.5 Tesla MRI of its kind in the area.  This machine combines the comfort of an open MRI with the high quality diagnostic value of traditional MRIs.  The exam room features patient comfort amenities such as floor to ceiling windows, a beautiful blue sky mural on the ceiling, and a sound system that allows patients to listen to music during their exam.  Finger Lakes Radiology is open Monday through Friday from 7:00AM to 7:00PM, and on Saturdays.
