Your exam
The time for an examination ranges from 20 to 40 minutes. Please wear comfortable clothing without metal buttons or zippers. Clothing will be supplied if necessary. All metal objects including jewelry, hair pins, cell phones, and coins are prohibited from entering the MRI room. Our personnel will ask you a series of questions to ensure your safety. You will be asked to arrive 15 minutes before you exam to complete necessary paperwork. The MRI scanner makes some loud knocking noises so you will be given earplugs or headphones with music to make you experience as comfortable as possible. Please feel free to bring a music CD of your choice to listen to during your exam.
